The playlists should be found if you use the file browser in XBMC. Recordings without the S/E numbers in the file names will not show up in tv recordings - this is a known limitation and one that can only be fixed by XBMC devs.

Instead, just go through the playlist files via file broswer where all recordings will show up via the playlist files.

I must of spoke wrong. Forget about XBMC for now.

SageSync won't add recorded shows to the playlist directory unless they have S/E in the file name. I am using windows file system to view the directory where the playlist files are generated. Am I doing something wrong?

Are the files it's not generating playlists for Sage recordings or imported videos? SageSync only generates playlists for recordings, not for imported videos. Imported videos should be dealt with directly by the external player/software.

For recordings, if there is no S/E data for the recording, it should put the playlist in folder named for the show title instead of season specific folders. And that works for me.

Yes they are sage recordings. I record my wife soaps and the news.

Some of the shows that are not added to playlist:

9Newsat5-1095242-0.mpg TheYoungandtheRestless-1135262-0.mpg TheTonightShowWithJayLeno-1006213-0.mpg 2BrokeGirls-S01E11-AndtheRealityCheck-1119118-0.mpg SaturdayNightLive-S37E14-964546-0.mpg

I record Curious George for the kids. 18 s01 are recorded and only 10 show up on the generated playlist.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: G:\ServerFolders\Videos-TV\SageSync\Who Do You Think You Are \Season 03\Who Do You Think You Are -S03E01-Martin Sheen-1003186.m3u (The system cannot find the path specified)

This is the error that's causing the problems. It's hitting this error then stopping, that's why some shows aren't having playlists created for them.

The error is because it can't create that directory and/or file for some reason (out of space, no permission, etc.).

Deleting file did no good.

Got it working.

I am using WHS 2011 running sage as a service. SageSync did not like drive:\serverfolder\ paths even though it let me choose them. Used d:\sagesync and shared it for my other computers.
