I think you may be aware of the application/feature called Information Board under the PlayStation Network category on the XMB.

I was wondering, it would be quite cool for it to instead of display Sony news, it could display news about the Pro firmware or something related to the Hacked PSP Scene?

if it's an RSS, and it's possible to edit the source, it would be best to make it changeable, since the user-set RSS channels don't allow text RSS.
