CFW Pro C 6.60 causing to charge via USB to be off upon reinstall despite being on in the XMB settings

Posted on Mar 10, 2014 by Quick Dog

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Crash a PSP game or turn off completley the PSP, go to the system settings > Usb charge, should be ON 2. Launch PRO-C CFW. 3. GO to the recovery menu>configuration check 'charge battery when USB cable is plugged in' it should be disabled

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

That the option is enabed, but it's disabled, i have to re do this every time a game crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

PSP 3000 OFW 6.60 with PSP CFW PRO-C for 6.60

The XMB USB charge and the Recovery Menu USB charge are completely different options. XMB USB Charge charges the battery ONLY when the USB cable is connected AND the MS card is mounted (Active USB connection ONLY). The recovery Menu USB Charge option charges the PSP via USB even in passive modes when the MS is not mounted. It takes some time for this option to start charging the PSP once it's connected.

@piotrekhenry still it diables the recovery menu option if i use the reinstall option instead of the quick recovery.

Reinstalation resets the recovery menu settings to their default values.
