Can't play psn games on 6.60 pro c2

Posted on Feb 2, 2013 by Helpful Horse

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Play psn psx games 2. 3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It should be playing the game but after the health warning showed up it got error message "the game cannot b played" and error code #ffffff

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 6.60 PRO-C2 on PSP

Please provide any additional information below. The game can be played if its psx games rip from cd, not from psn

You need to download a copy directly from PSN that is SIGNED for your particular device. Pirated PSN game copies WILL NOT work on PRO CFW.

Having the same problem. Bought PSN PSX games are not working when transferred from PS3 to PSP. "Backed Up" PSX games work. I have not tried direct download of PSN PSX game. Downloading MGS right now.

I'm having the same issue. I bought PSX games (FFIX, Grandia, Xenogears) and they were working before and after I installed PRO-C2, but this morning I' get the FFFFFF error and I didn't even change anything.

The PSX games from PSN runs when I disable the PRO-C2.

I have the same problem. Flashed 6.60 PRO-C2 to a new-to-me 1000 series, signed in to PSN, authenticated the PSP, downloaded FFVII via PSN, installed, and received the same error.

I was actually using all the svn builds up until the latest. this was broken in last month or two before C2 was tagged. Any chance of seeing some kind of work around without reverting all the way back to fix 3 of previous tag? Surely nodrm can be done without breaking PSN PSX games?

Use "popsloader" with 6.60 support well if you ask me that defeat the purpose of buying a PSN PSX Games

"#3 piotrekhenry You need to download a copy directly from PSN that is SIGNED for your particular device. Pirated PSN game copies WILL NOT work on PRO CFW."

Same issue here. It's a PSN PSX game FOR THIS VERY DEVICE, paid and downloaded from PSN before I flashed to CFW. Now I get error FFFFFFFF when trying to launch it. It's a fully legit PSN PSX game.

I'm having the same issue with PRO-C2. I was using PRO-B10 fix 1 before hand and it is from the psn. For the time being I'm going back to PRO-B10 for now.

I'm sure there's been plenty of confirmation, but one more never hurts right :)

+1 on issue. Pro C-2 Persona 2: EP & FFVII give error code #FFFFFF.

Reverting to Pro B-10fix1 games launch with no problems.

Hi, like #18 says, the nightly build fixes this drm-engine bug, so please update to the nightly. Confirmed working with Resident Evil Directors Cut PSN ver.

There is a custom version of PRO CFW 6.60 c-2 that works with all PSX/PSN games here:

http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=34403

It's legit, just get the newest one (Update 3) and install it like you would the normal 6.60 PRO c-2 CFW (might need to uninstall current CFW if using, first).

Source code also available on that page.

The makers of this CFW apparently disappeared (maybe the Sony Yakuza took him, lol) so a community member took it upon himself to fix the problems with PRO C-2.

Enjoy.
