12 Oct --> iOS5 out 18 Oct --> Last Twit from Cocoanuts, "problems with Gremlin, update will come soon"
At the beginning of 2012, one user posted on the modmyi Celeste forum giving users a way to install and use Celeste on iOS 5. This requires removing the Gremlin dependency from the package. Confirmed to work, but...
20 Jan 2012, that means after 3 months of totale lack of informations --> here's a bit of info. gremlin did cause the filesystem to explode, we've learned that not using libffmpeg at least prevents that. Celeste consists of 3 parts: Bluetooth OBEX, send integration into system apps, import of received files. OBEX is fine on iOS 5. Importing songs on iOS4 was a major hack, but it doesn't work anymore on iOS5. Send integration is probably broken in some cases, but that's fixable.
And now it's 28 Jan, and there we are. That means that it took 3 months just to figure out what's fixable and what's not?! I'm sorry to sound rude, but this is simply embarassing for one of the most expensive tweaks available on Cydia. When will ppl who blindly trusted this project be able to use what they paid for without having to rely on tricks like the one reported above (which works, but that's not the point)??

Posted on Feb 2, 2012 by Happy RhinoI would release a version without the gremlin2 dependency in order to make this tweak purchaseable again. There are many new iPhone users out there due to the newly released iPhone 4S Jailbreak. These are potential customers. You could earn money from them. ;)

Posted on Feb 5, 2012 by Swift OxHi. We started to work on Celeste on iOS 5 after Absinth came out (I use an iPhone 4S with 5.0.1 now) and fixed the "Send" integration for those apps where it got broken. We plan to release a beta version for iOS 5 for existing users when at least send and receive works stable - but defer the file import for later.

Posted on Feb 9, 2012 by Happy RhinoReally nice idea to open up an issue track board. New beta is working as expected (except the mentioned bugs). Thanks a lot! :)

Posted on Dec 10, 2012 by Swift OxUnbelievable as it is, but we're working on a new version of Celeste for iOS 5+6 that is based on the new Bluetooth Companion (BTC) technology.
