btstack - issue #224

iOS Bluetooth Unavailable

Posted on Dec 31, 2011 by Quick Ox

I've installed BTstack to be able to connect my iPhone emulators to the iControlpad. This works (though with pretty big delay). However, my regular iOS bluetooth has become unavailable!

When I go to iOS bluetooth settings, it sais bluetooth is turned off, the on/off slider is not responding and stays switched off.

When I go to BTstack's settings and select 'iOS' the circular progress thingey keeps twisting forever. It does say it could take 30 sec. on the bottom of the page, but after a minute mine's still not switched on.

When I leave the BTstack menu after having tried to switch iOS bluetooth on, the regular Bluetooth Settings switches status to 'Bluetooth Unavailable'. After fully restarting Settings the status changes to the regular 'Off'. But the process starts from the top. I'm not able to turn it on.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I'm using the new untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.0.1 on an iPhone 4.

If you're on 5.0.1 untether, please update "Corona 5.0.1 Untether" and reboot. That helps in most cases.

Corona 5.0.1 isn't that popular anymore.

I am having this issue after trying to use the BTstack mouse, and now am unable to re-activate my iOS Bluetooth stack. Do you know of a way to do this? I have tried uninstalling the app, and rebooting.
