btstack - issue #219

No connection after updating BTstack

Posted on Dec 10, 2011 by Helpful Bird

I've been using BTStack for more than one year with an external GPS device (route 66). Yesterday I've upgraded BTStack to 1.6. It cannot connect anymore to my device... Well, that's what it says as the bluetooth light is turned on by the attempt of connection (on the device). This device has "no pairing password" as it seems, (same result with "0000"). But was perfectly working until the upgrade. BTstack didn't ask for a password but now does.

Is there a way to downgrade ?

Well, I have downloaded and installed GPS-1.5-25900.deb (from a previous post) and all is working back again :-) And TomTom is asking again to connect to a GPS but I don't care, it works ;-)

I've purchased an iPod Touch 3G on eBay and will fix the label issue with TomTom in the next weeks.

Also, please start using http://btstack.uservoice.com for issues with my BTstack-based products on iOS.
