on iPad with 4.2 iOS trying to connect to a Earthmate GPS BT-20 I have only been able to get it to connect one time. Otherwise it seems to just sit there trying to connect. occasionally the BT-20 shows a steady connect and the iPad status bar BT indicator goes solid but BTStack GPS app shows error message that connection has failed and to check to see if BT device is discoverable.

I am having the same issue. Some times if I turn off my iPad and the gps I can get it to connect the next time I try but it is still hit and miss. I am still not sure if its just this gps or if its the program?

I am having the same issue with my earthmate gps bt-20 on my itouch 3g.
