Quicksilver Will Not Update or Connect To Internet for Plugins

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Install Quicksilver 2. Run Through Set up 3. Try to Update Program or Refresh Plug in List

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Update gave error message: "Connection Error, Unable to Check For Updates" Plug in List will not refresh and shows no application plug ins etc

What version of the product (including Quicksilver version, AND the module version related to the buggy functionality if appropriate) are you using? On what operating system?

B57 OS X 10.6.5

Problem also exists on B58

Please provide any additional information below, and please attach the corresponding crash log under ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter if your problem ends this way.

I've tried clearing all of the system caches/software update caches etc but nothing seems to fix this problem. I've also checked Network preferences to check proxy settings and everything was fine. This one has me stumped as to why it wont work.

i think the reason is that blacktree.com (where all the plugins are) is suspended
