Running ß56a7 on Snow Leopard: open preferences window, select Guide, click check for updates. A window appears saying the app and all plugins are up to date, and when you click OK, kaboom!

This might be a duplicate of 296, because they both die from a WebKitThreadingException, but maybe not.
