blacktree-quicksilver - issue #293

Change 'Use Effects' to 'false' in QSDefaults

Posted on Oct 27, 2009 by Helpful Bird

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. (Steps below are on Snow Leopard) 1. Uninstall QS fully, remove all traces from your ~/Library 2. Install Quicksilver-b56a7 3. Launch Application

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

QS should take you through initial setup. Sometimes it does, but mostly it just disappears. When it does save your prefs, you can't ever launch it again.

What version of the product (including Quicksilver version, AND the module version related to the buggy functionality if appropriate) are you using? On what operating system?

Quicksilver-b56a7, defaults

I found that if I edited the 'QSDefaults.plist' and set 'Use Effects' to 'false' QS launched, and for the most part ran fine. With it set to true I can't even launch it.
