Parallel Zip Archive Password Recovery (PZAPR)

Migrated to GitHub March 2015 since Google Code is shutting down. See https://github.com/rbeede/pzapr

MPI implementation of a parallel zip archive password recovery tool that works against zip archives encrypted with AES-256.

It uses brute force techniques to guess passwords from a dictionary or any alphanumeric combinations of length 1 to 7.

Done for the CSCI 4576/5576 High Performance Scientific Computing course taken during the Spring 2011 at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

You may access a copy of our PowerPoint slides for the final presentation in the code repository or via http://pzapr.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/doc/Final%20Presentation%3B%202011-04-29%3B%20PZAPR.ppt

Final Report on 4 May 2011 (you may have to right click and Save As since Googlecode.com provides the wrong mime type)
