This resource provides CardDAV support for Kontact. It is intended to provide the same level of CardDAV support as other major calendaring clients such as Apple Address Book.

The plugin is developed as a standard KResource on KDE 4.4. Currently, Akonadi has a KResource compatibility layer, so the plugin will operate within that framework.

The code has been tested on Fedora 12 with KDE 4.4 on i386 and x86_64 using the Zimbra and DAViCal servers. It is expected to interoperate with other standard CardDAV servers.
