What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a Metro app 2. Load the GData API 3. Compile
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect it to compile, but instead I get the error "Cannot find type System.ComponentModel.ExpandableObjectConverter in module System.dll". This is because this namespace is removed from the .NET for Metro apps API.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? GData 2.1.0.0 with VS2012 and .NET 4.5 in Windows 8 RTM in a Metro style project.
Please provide any additional information below.

Posted on Nov 1, 2012 by Quick Giraffeim having same exact problem with G Data Internet Security 2013 and a Retail copy of windows 8. None of the Metro or windows start apps connect or even get asked if i want to allow them to run.
