What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.I have tried the extension manager to no avail. 2.I get the error message that I have attached below as a screenshot. 3.Writertools shows up but doesn't function.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? I am using the brand new version on XP Home SP2

Did you unzip the downloaded archive and install the WriterTools.oxt package?

By the way, you are not supposed to install the WriterDB.odb file: you just need to register it with OpenOffice.org. Read the supplied User Guide to see how this can be done.
