Attached find an annotated PDF document of the book with 714 sticky notes of suggested corrections to the text.
To view them, download and install the latest Adobe Reader XI and open the document. To get a list of all sticky notes, from the View menu select Comment and then Annotations. See the Comment List.
Common typos/repeating mistakes through the text: * “Talk about class/component MyClass” should be “Talk about the MyClass class/component” * “Talk about tag <bal>” should be “Talk about the <bla> tag” * “Takes in input” should be “Takes as input”
I'll update my copy of the book and continue proof reading starting with chapter 11.

Posted on May 17, 2013 by Helpful BirdWhile referencing to a "paragraph" in the text, replace it with "section".
A paragraph is a distinct section of a piece of writing, usually dealing with a single theme and indicated by a new line, indentation, or numbering.
Whereas sections are numbered and made up of one or more paragraphs (unless we're talking about the bible which indeed has each section and paragraph numbered :)

Posted on May 17, 2013 by Massive ElephantThank you very much Paul for you contribute! I would like to add your name to the front page as proof-reader, if you don't have anything against it. Your corrections will be applied to the next update of the guide, which should be released before the end of May.

Posted on May 17, 2013 by Helpful BirdHey Andrea,
Should I wait until then before starting with chapter 11 towards the end of the book?
Are there a lot of changes between the May 1st edition and the next version of the book when it comes to chapter 11 and on? If not, I rather download the new version and keep going :)

Posted on May 18, 2013 by Massive Elephantwell, my original plan was to release a new version in the next few days. This version contains the fixes for issues from 10 to 13. Know I will slightly post pone it to see how long it takes to insert your corrections. If it doesn't take too long and if you think you have the time to complete your reading proof before the end of may, I will wait for it to produce one single update. But if we need more time to do everything with calm, I will publish the update in accordance with my original plan and I will postpone your corrections to the next update. The most notable change compared to the previous version is section 10.2.5 where I've replaced the deprecated class AbstractBehavior with the updated code. However, the text has not changed so much.
