What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Add USP to panel 2. Put panel on left or right of screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I would expect to see the USP menu button and text remain horizontal. Since I'm on the side of the screen, USP is taking up way more space this way!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 2.01.00-ubuntu3 (on Linux Mint Debian Edition)

You may wish to raise this on the mintLinux/mintMenu site as well as their code has diverged from the original usp quite a bit.
