ubuntu-system-panel - issue #38

USP crashes when changing plugin size via arrows

Posted on Mar 17, 2010 by Helpful Elephant

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open usp -w (with Places plugin, for example) 2. Right click it and go to Preferences 3. Go to "Places" tab 4. Click the up arrow next to "Places Width" and hold it for a short time

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The program should not crash. It does, with the following message: (usp:18122): Bonobo-WARNING **: Never got frame, control died - abnormal exit condition This generates an error dialog with the option to "not show again for this program version".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Latest apt repository version on Ubuntu 9.10.

Please provide any additional information below. FYI, my "places" plugin is located at the bottom of a panel that it shares with the user plugin, and there are more panels to the right of it (in case this has to do with resizing/redrawing those).
