Batch mode: Icelandic chars in Turkish not handled correctly

Posted on Feb 20, 2013 by Happy Giraffe

Even though I have selected 'Turkish' as the language and also checked the 'Fix Turkish ANSI (Icelandic) characters to Unicode', SE appears to not do the codepage replacements for Turkish when it's working in batch mode.

In the enclosed 7z file, there a three versions of the same srt file:

1) 'Input.srt' is the original input file. in Win1254 encoding.

2) 'Batch output.srt' is what I get after running the 'Input.srt' file through batch.

3) Finally, 'Correct.srt' is the one I generated by hand and is what 'Batch output.srt' should have been.

The binary I am using is r1643 and it does produce the above (incorrect) output.

Is there any chance I can get a copy of r1644+ binaries to test?

OK, I fixed one error... but it's of course possible there are more ;)

http://www.nikse.dk/SubtitleEdit.zip (now with "multiple replace" in batch convert too)
