I like using several of the functions the "edit box" can have, e.g. a) filter the current folder b) start a search using grepWin
Since the edit box can only have one function, I need to go to options quite often:
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. In Options, set "edit box" to "Filter" 2. type "foo" in the edit box -> filters your folder for filenames containing foo 3. If you want to search for "bar" in *.m using grepWin, you need to go to Options again and change the "edit box" to "grepWin"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I would like the StExBar edit box to be multifunctional in some way. For example, by typing "f foo" I could filter for filenames containing foo, while "g bar" would launch grepWin looking for "bar". Each function of the edit box could be assigned a one-letter shortcut.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? StExBar 1.8.2.316 on WinXP SP3
