This code repository is meant to house an ever-evolving bunch of code snippets designed to bootstrap secure programming activities or demonstrate a security concept.

This repository may contain code snippets that leverage the OWASP ESAPI reference implementation but is not designed with any formal relationship to that project in mind. Instead, think of this repository as a petri dish in which demonstrations of security APIs can be used, secure design patterns can be explored, or integration tasks can be prototyped. If an implementation herein becomes mature enough to migrate to ESAPI, great! If not, perhaps it will provide value as a snippet to be cut-and-pasted into someone's dev environment.

As the idea of a programming workshop gestates, we'll try to hold it to the following guiding principles:

**Any code produced during the workshop should be made available through

some open source license** All code produced during the workshop should be committed back to this repository xxx.... xxx....
