New Default Skin to be packaged with next full release!?!!

Posted on Jun 22, 2009 by Grumpy Bird

It has been recently brought to my attention that there has been some consideration about a new default skin packaged with the next full release of Rainmeter.

If this is the case; I would like to take this work off of your hands!

I would propose that we send out a call for a collaborative skin build to the forum, and let the members develop the default skin(s).

At the very least, I would like to put out a call. Have the community collaborate on a default skin, and then have it submitted to you folks here for approval. An option for a default skin. Or the collaborative work could be packaged as an alternate packaged skin.

If you agree with this concept, let me know, and I will get together with Mr. Harris, and Rorix (If Possible), and get a forum set up specially for this task.

Thanks for your consideration in this matter SGT. E. V. McKay

I'm all for the idea. The current skin looks quite dated already and a good looking default skin is probably the most important thing to get new users for Rainmeter.
