If version 0.9 should not be used can you remove or deprecate it from the download tab.

Its ending up in various distros (see below) and it seems that some people have been told not to use it (thus how bugs should be fixed is ambiguous).

That it wound up in various distros is not my problem. The official public releases are on PyPI. I rushed out 0.9 because people had started requiring it in other packages.

Going forward I will probably revise the package structure, but for now, all development is on the packages branch.
