I'm using XMMS2 Dr 0.7 (Arch Linux)

The status changing works perfect, but once the playing has finished the status doesn't change back to original, it shows the status of last song.

And for sure, its not an XMMS2 bug, because it was working previously.

How to reproduce:

Set Pidgin status to available Play a few songs in XMMS2. Once all songs are over, check back the status.

Update, it is a problem with any player. I tried with MPD also, same problem.

One more thing, recently a pidgin update was released, I'm using version 2.7.3

And for sure, its not an XMMS2 bug, because it was working previously.

And what changed when it stopped working?

I don't know. But it's working now again. Probably a bug in pidgin itself.
