The Link to the reStructuredText on the pandoc homepage http:// johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/index.html is wrong:

instead of http://docutils.sourceforge.net/docs/ref/rst/introductio it should be http://docutils.sourceforge.net/docs/ref/rst/introduction.html
