RFC 3745 seems to be the last document that validates MIME types for JPEG2000.
4.1 Still Image Registration
Suffixes jp2 and jpg2 are possible; jp2 is preferred MIME type: image/jp2
4.2 Extended Still Image Registration
The recommended file suffix is jpf; jpx is acceptable MIME type: image/jpx
4.3 Motion Registration
Suffixes mj2 and mjp2 are possible MIME type: video/mj2
4.4 Compound Image Registration
Suffixes jpm and jpgm are possible MIME type: image/jpm
The binaries in the codec and mj2 directory of OpenJPEG ignore the suffixes jpg2, jpf, jpgm and mjp2.
