There is a need to attach a file. For example, I document a server configuration: I need to attach several configuration files. They may be not searchable, I dont think that is a problem.

This is definitely a good idea. I always wanted to have attachment support too. Making this nice with some ajax or chrome/FF extensions to allow drag&drop of files to work would be extra nice.
