modmii - issue #20
ModMii doesn't create font.bin in COPY_TO_USB\sneek when generating a full Uneek2o install
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Generate a full install files for Uneek /+DI 2. Go to COPY_TO_USB\SNEEK folder and see the Font.bin missing
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It is expected to be there, but instead it is in COPY_TO_SD\SNEEK where it is useless when using UNEEK instead of SNEEK
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 6.2.1, Windows 8 x64
Please provide any additional information below. Nothing else.

Posted on Dec 15, 2012 by Swift PandaWhy is this invalid?, did you even try?. In order to have the neek2o menú showing in UNEEK, Font.bin should be located in USB HDD, but ModMii is putting it in SD card.

Posted on Dec 15, 2012 by Happy OxMy apologies for not including a comment when changing the status to invalid.
I did double check this, and confirmed it's being saved to copy_to_usb as it should be. Double check your ModMii settings, and perhaps restore the drive settings back to default. The only difference between our setups is windows 7 vs. windows 8. That being said, I'm fairly certain that isn't the cause of the issue. Quite honestly, I just think you're mistaken and I'm certain you'll be hard pressed to find ONE other person to verify your "issue".
Also note that a font.bin is only needed for neek+di. So if you installed sneek+di last week, then install uneek today, a font.bin will be on the SD card but not the USB, this is expected behaviour. I say this because you've referenced uneek+di one time and just uneek another time.

Posted on Dec 17, 2012 by Swift PandaThanks for your answer, you are right, what i am doing is a Uneek installation (Not +DI), and as you say, Font.bin is not created in USB, only in SD. If it is an expected behavior then it is ok, but when i press button 1 in the wiimote at system menú, the uneek menú won't come up unless i copy Font.bin from SD to USB. Not a big problema though.

Posted on Dec 18, 2012 by Swift PandaYes, they have it since some builds ago of sneek2o, it is not the typical DI menu, instead they have a channel launch menu (pushing button 1), and a configuration menu, which allows to change between different emunands and other things (pushing button 2).
Elseway, if you really do not feel yourself like trying it, i am not going to convince you ;)
But here is a fragment of the changelog of Neek2o r92 beta 12:
New Navigation:
Menu hidden: - Wiimote "1" / GC Pad "Start" : Will bring up the game menu (Channel menu if no DI module is found)
- Wiimote "2" / GC Pad "Z" : Will bring up configuration menu's
As you can see it states that a Channel menú is shown when no DI module is found, and that the Configuration menu is available with or without DI module as they don't make any distinction.
Status: Invalid
