Well, VKonyakte protocol is not a core protocol. You need to contact the author. You might want to try using Jabber protocol, VKontakte support it now.

are you trying to tell me that if i use jabber, vkontakt is implemented in jabber ? it's sad, cause i'm forced to use jabber ? i never used jabber & always remove the plugin of the plugin directory, but if i have no other option, i'll give it a try .. .
