What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. open an irc message window 2. enter message text and send it 3. received text is not displayed in message window, but does show up in the "view user's history" pop-up when shown What is the expected result? I want to see the received text

What happens instead? no received message text is shown in the text window, but does show up in the "view user's history" window. Reverting to v9.14 ansi fixes the problem!!

; important info #1 here the problem discribed here is a return of an old problem (pre v9.14 ansi). It was fixed in v9.14 ansi. After updating to ver 9.21 the problem has returned. I went back and tried versions 9.19 and 9.18, and the problem persists. So sometime after v9.14 the code broke.

Same problem: the online user gets the message text (and I see it in the message window), but anything sent by the online user does not show in the message window (only in the "view user's history" window).

Simple test to reproduce problem. join #regex select "message Svadilfari" (that is a channel bot) send "]re help" notice no reponse shows in the message window click the "view user's history" icon notice in the pop-up window the bot response is there

The problem occured on CLEAN INSTALLS (i.e to a new folder) using the ansi installer download files. Verified problem on versions 9.21, 9.19, 9.18 as (clean) installed using these files: http://miranda.googlecode.com/files/miranda-im-v0.9.21-ansi.exe http://miranda.googlecode.com/files/miranda-im-v0.9.19-ansi.exe http://miranda.googlecode.com/files/miranda-im-v0.9.18-ansi.exe I have removed those versions from my system so I cannot immediately give version info.

The message window plugin is whatever is installed by default.

Your problem is impossible to duplicate. The instructions are impossible to reproduce. freenode does not have a #regex channel. You di dnot specify which server you are on...

If you are interested please provide steps to reproduce that could reproduced and VersionInfo report (links are unacceptable, report generated by crash dumper plugin needed). If not issue will be closed.
