Since build 0.9.17, I can't connect to any protocol (I have ICQ, MSN, Jabber/Facebook/Gtalk) through our company's proxy. When I use miranda32.exe from 0.9.16, it works alright.

Did you lost your db? Did you fill in proxy info?

When you open issue report form. There was a lot of stuff in there please fill it in COMPLETELY (every item and provide all reports). Otherwise issue will be closed.

Sorry, I somehow thought you'd know about some changes made and you'd be able to trace to problem without full report… I'm naive. :-[

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. I copy executable from 0.9.16 to Miranda directory and run – Miranda connects. 2. I replace it with executable from 0.9.17 or later – Miranda is not able to connect. 3. I copy 0.9.16 EXE back again – Miranda connects. 4. All plugins are copied from 0.9.18, asi I found out, that the only problem seems to be the executable file. 5. I didn't lose DB, I do not make any configuration changes meanwhile, I just keep all proxy settings the same (global settings of hostname and port for all protocols) and use one or another EXE file.

What is the expected result? Miranda should connect. :-)

What happens instead? Miranda doesn't connect. :-(

Other Resources:

For Gtalk, you have a weird proxy, it asks to close HTTPS connection after proxy connection has been established.

For MSN use HTTP proxy not HTTPS and it will work.

Well, and what about the other protocols? And how so all protocols work fine in .16, and on the other hand none of them is able to connect in .17?

When I change both MSN items in Options - Network to HTTP mode, I only get MSN Protocol error message, that the connection to MSN Passport can't be established.

With your particular proxy, it will not work, as proxy giving incorrect instructions to the client. I will put workaround for that in the next version but that is it for now.

OK, thank you for your effort, I hope it will work out with 0.9.19. If your fix won't help, I'm ready to send another logs :-)
