Please check your system time and the history with that contact. This kind of problems often come from inconsistencies with time stamps of messages.

Wow! Latest message is dated by 2012 year (I have 2011 in system time). What should I do?

I've got a similar problem. Sender and receiver seem to have slightly different times (about one minute). I send a message and get a reply some seconds later. The reply is shown above my message in the message log.

You need to delete those, but you can keep a backup in case there will be another solution later. This is a known issue.

Are you using the Miranda 0.9.17? Please crate your own report with all the required details.

Miranda uses local time stamp except for offline messages so what you are saying is impossible.
