Can we have a popup when a ping comes, like the one on gmail or empathy. I cant see the ping notification when miranda is minimized.

Ok, I might be wrong with my language. What i intended to say was , If the user is logged in on gmail , and if someone sends a message, a popup should come up notifying user about the chat message. The chat bubble does start blinking , but it doesnt come to notice , as Miranda is not visible on my Notification area.

You can make Miranda visible in the notification area (click on arrow in notification area, select cusomize, and select icon and notification for Miranda), you can make message dialog popup, there is NewEventNotify plugin for popups.

IMHO , this should be a feature and not a plugin as is the case in other messengers. The user can always disable it later.
