I don't have one right now because when I did:

1. The last item in the list was duplicated, and scroll bar did not extend to the bottom of the duplicate item and therefore looked funny.
2. Dragging the scroll button would also pan the map

Actually, it would be better change this to a hierarchical menu: at the top level would be categories ("density", "population", "structures," etc), and in each category the actual metrics would reside.

It might help to create a class that represented a category group of metrics. This would facilitate creation of the hierarchical menu, and would also be helpful for plotting individual neighbourhood data (category group class could store information about the relationships between members of the group, which would make plotting easier).
