minimalistic mail blog

serving static html (enhanced with jquery) created by a python daemon fetching markdowned emails via imap.

why use it?

• post and comment per email
  • youremail+post@example.com
  • youremail+comment@example.com
• no database, no dependencies (only python, which you should already have)
• use markdown to format your posts
• attach images you want to embed in your post
• your emails go through the mail server, therefore:
  • you get free spam protection
  • automatic backups (in imap mailbox)
