Glipper-Lite works OK (I can open its history menu using the keyboard shortcut), except its tray icon does not appear in the lxpanelx system tray (there is a gap instead).

I don't know how to prove that this is an lxpanelx problem, but it doesn't occur when I use glipper-lite with a different panel, e.g. lxpanel or jwm.

OK, I tried running another application that uses eggtrayicon (an old version of retrovol) with lxpanelx, and the same problem occurred, so I guess there is something about eggtrayicon that it doesn't like.
