What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Create a new meetup

2. In the description field enter:

" This is the first line

This is the second line "

3. Save the meetup.

4. Click "Edit meetup"

5. Look at the description field.

The expected result is that the description field should still contain:

" This is the first line

This is the second line "

The actual result is that the description field contains:

" This is the first line This is the second line "

This has the effect of breaking markdown formatting any time you make an edit to a meetup post.

OS: Chrome 24.0.1312.70 under Ubuntu (also happens in Windows Chrome).
