What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. boot into Gnome3(ubuntu11.10) 2. enable the global-gnome-menu(disabled it still happens) 3. Start Keepnote
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There is a log enclosed below, and what I'd expect to see is something along the lines of this, however without the graphic-based errors at the end of it(if neccessary I will post the log outcome after the resolution, as I don't have a current log with me of keepnote successfully running).

0.7.7 version of Keepnote, Ubuntu11.10 (unity/disabled), gnome3(default)
Please provide any additional information below.
Basically, I have the Keepnote running on every machine, it is such a great note-taking blessing to the open-source community(as I wanted an open-source One-Note variant, and now for many things I like Keepnote more). Thus, on two of my machines Ubuntu11.10 is running currently, and Keepnote works on one, and not on the other, this is my problem. My souped up desktop(the problem desktop), is in essence 64-bit(my laptop is too, minus the 3-Dgraphics card), with great 3-D graphics card. However, my lesser capable laptop with Ubuntu11.10 and my Keepnote works fine. On my desktop, I want Keepnote's GUI to not only start up, but I want it to also either highlight the global gnome3 application menu with its icon, and its menu-bar options in the gnome3 global menu-drop-down menu accordingly. Or as Keepnote's one other inconsistency when running is its problem with showing the menu-bar, and if it doesn't show up in the global menu, have it show up in the traditional gtk+ menu-bar).
Keepnote also stagnated & crashed when loading after the preferences were changed when trying to set the open-notebook in the preferences(rt-clicking the system-icon for keepnote, and going to preferences) I have seen this problem other places, and for other applications, and believe it is stemming from the runtime graphic-libraries of the gnome3 desktop-environment But mainly, what I'd like to do is run my favorite note-taking(Keepnote) program on my primary machines(it has done very well for me in Archlinux, Windows OSs, & below ubuntu10). I imagine that although my problem is semantically a bit different than some of the others, I have seen this problem on other sites as well.
