What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open the program.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When the program is opened, the tree does not appear on the left except for the top-level item, although all folders and notes appear in the listview. When I add a new note, however, the tree immediately appears in full and acts normally from then on.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The new Windows version, downloaded 2/14/10. Windows XP SP3.

Posted on Feb 15, 2010 by Quick ElephantMy guess is that one of these files got corrupted: your-note-book/notebook.nbk your-note-book/node.xml your-note-book/TRASH/node.xml
Did you have a power outage while saving? Try open each file in WordPad and seeing if it is truncated (should end with the xml tag that the file starts with). If so, replace it from a back up or add the missing closing tags. Then reopen the notebook in KeepNote and it should be fixed.
