What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Upgraded the unlocked phone and now it asks for my old sim 2. I downloaded independence but it won't work. 3. I am using the new Itune 7.7. when I re-installed a lower version nothing would work bec it had converted my library. Independence wouldn't open.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? to be able to check a box to unlock the phone again.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 7.7 itunes. Mac 10.4.11, the older iphone with the updated system that made everything go away because it recognized an unlocked phone!

Please provide any additional information below. I followed the directions re moving the the mobile and reinstalling itunes and it didn't seem to make a difference. I even tried on a friend's mac who hadn't updated his itunes and it gave me the same message.
