What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. connect ipod touch 2. click jailbreak
3. the ipod screen goes black and keeps showing the error message

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expected to jailbreak the ipod but I got it stuck on the error screen instead with the error: BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0 I can't restore the ipod - itunes doesn't see it

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? ipod touch 8GB, 1.1.2

Shutdown the ipod (hold the power + home buttons) then turn it on holding the power+home just until you see the iTunes+cable icons in the screen. Then run iTunes and restore you iPod.
