What steps will reproduce the problem? when i click the settings icon on the iphone it gets stuck. when i restart it iphone gets stuck in the home screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? iphone 1.1.2 OBT, upgraded to 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 still the problem persists. even on the 1.1.2. using Windows Vista.

Please provide any additional information below. 1.normally doesn't go to the recovery mode easily 2.when restored it again gets stuck even before unlocking it in the 'slide for emergency' screen..
