What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Using 1.1.1, wanted to upgrade to 1.1.3 2. Followed instructions on help went down to 1.02, worked ok 3. Got jailed 1.0.2. Try to activate phone before 1.1.3 ugrade, got the above error message

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? iTunes won't let me do anything and iNdependence gives me this error massage when i'm locating the software to activate the phone

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? iPhone was 1.1.1, now downgraded to 1.0.2, Leopard 10.5.2, iTunes 7.6.1

I have the same after virginizing a 1.0.2 iPhone. I'm running Tiger, so the problem is more probably connected to the beta.
