ok im trying to jail break my phone and i keep geting the error creating ram disk message im useing the newest firm wear on my iphone wich is the 1.1.3 and im runing a mac mini and im trying to use independence 1.4 so if some one could please help me it would be great

I get same message ... after a "Couldn't download firmware file" Error ....

On original jailbreak attempt, the "downloading firmware" stalled. I had to force quit. Now I get a "Couldn't extract firmware file contents."

ok what i did was i moved all my files that had to do with independence on to my external hard drive and now it all works fine

OK, to fix it go to:

/Users/Your Home/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates

and delete the firmware file which is not complete
