What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Visit a page the rule for which https-finder already added in the past. 2. Https-finder will prompt to add the rule again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I don't expect to be prompted to save the same rule again.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 0.87 on Firefox 20.0

It ended up being that HTTPS Everywhere was disabled for some reason. Enabling it fixed this issue and has sped up browsing, too! Thanks!
