What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Download the current tarball from the website. 2. Untar the archive in your downloads folder. 3. Start cursing that there's all this trash in your downloads folder.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Should output to a folder, like "gst-editor-0.10.2". Like every other tarball with source code for a UNIX program does.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.10.2. On Debian unstable/amd64
