grub4dos-chenall - issue #154

grub4dos hangs on first bad ls command

Posted on Oct 5, 2013 by Happy Kangaroo

What steps will reproduce the problem? Boot to grub4dos command shell (no menu.lst)

type

ls (bd,0)/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Should say: Error 15: File not found.

but instead, just hangs!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 2013-07-24

Please provide any additional information below.

Note: If boot to grub4dos and issue a command first then you do get the error message

e.g.

ls (bd)/ ls (bd,0)/

does not hang.

Also, if you have a menu.lst file then does not hang.
