grub4dos-chenall - issue #120

No warning if not enough RAM when loading grldr

Posted on Mar 12, 2013 by Happy Kangaroo

What steps will reproduce the problem? Boot to grub4dos in an emulator with limited system memory available:

32MB (637K/30MB/0M displayed) - displays initial menu (find /menu.lst, /boot/grub/menu.lst, etc and hangs 36MB (637K/34MB/0M displayed) - boots to shell, but if try to run wenv get 'Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format' reported.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Should warn not enough memory

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 2011+

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems batch files and insmod command, etc. need more memory.

On loading, it should display a warning about low RAM?
