To be honest, I'm surprised it continued to sync while sleeping in the past. Being able to sync during sleep is not something I see as necessary (and may not be possible). Cydia doesn't support it, which is the only other app with long-running tasks that I can think of.

But if someone else wants to tacke this, feel free.
