gris - issue #79

Using 'mail-in-app'

Posted on Jul 1, 2009 by Grumpy Hippo

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. sending a article opens Mail Application and causes the exit from GRIS. 2. 3.

What happened? What should happen? I suggest that GRIS not exit. Instead, It will use the mail-in-app (like Safari when I send a link though an email). In this way, after the send of email, Gris will be still running and ready for the next reading.

What device and OS version are you using? iPhone 3G OS v2.2

What version of GRiS are you using? (it's in cydia) 0.6.8-1

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm pretty sure mail.app can't be used by anyone who's not apple.

What I do (and recommend) is to use the "backgrounder" app (found in cydia). I have set gris to be automatically-backgrounded, so it will never quit unless you tap & hold home for 1 second or so. That way when you're done sending email, GRiS can easily be resumed in an instant.
